7,000+ vivo V70 units sold in its first three days of launch

From March 14 to 16, 2026, around 7,000 vivo V70 units were sold nationwide, thus making a strong splash with a 25% sales increase over the previous year’s vivo V60. With its balanced specs, sleek design, and trusted reputation from early adopters and loyal vivo fans, there’s no denying that the brand’s latest release is off to a great start.

Why are more Filipinos switching to vivo V70?

A smartphone upgrade for many Filipinos is a practical choice first, and being in trend second. As one of the countries who are most active in social media, we tend to use our phones for our everyday lives.

Small business owner Lorlyn Romano from Sta. Rosa, Laguna, upgraded her V60 to the V70 because of its improved 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera, equipped with AI features.

“Maganda na yung camera ng V60, pero mas pinaganda at pinalinaw pa ni V70 with AI Magic Weather. Mahilig kasi ako sa photography… Importante sa akin yung camera, performance, battery life, at storage.”

She even added that because of the pre-ordering system, she was able to secure her favorite V70 color. “Na-experience ko na maubusan ng color dati with V60, kaya nag-pre-order na ako ngayon para sigurado ang Golden Hour colorway ko,” she shared.

For studio administrator Charice Vargas, the V70 is a much-needed upgrade after four years. “Excited na ako mag-upgrade after four years with my vivo V27. Bonus na lang yung freebies kasi I’m eyeing yung free buds, pero na-surprise ako kasi may kasama pang soundbar.”

She even praised the phone’s performance during daily use. “Camera talaga. Ang linaw ng video kahit naka-zoom up to 20x. Tapos ang tagal ng battery, perfect for everyday use,” she added.

The V70 proved to be a worthwhile investment for Andrew Jay J. Tomaquin from Cebu City. He was planning to buy the V60 before, but decided to wait for the V70, and he found the upgrade satisfying. Nung lumabas yung V70, doon ko na ginamit yung ipon ko. Yung zoom at 4K 60fps sobrang ganda lalo na sa videos,” he shared.

Being a previous vivo Y series user as well, reliability is one of his top considerations in a device. He said, “Alam kong matibay talaga pag vivo, kaya para sa akin investment na rin itong V70 ko.”

With its long battery life and good consumer feedback, the vivo V70 sets a confident tone for a promising 2026 ahead, showing that a smartphone can be innovative and helpful to many.

Interested in getting one for yourself? The vivo V70 is now available at a starting price of Php 31,999 in vivo concept stores nationwide and through online platforms such as the vivo e-store, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
